A Credit to the game
Steve’s determination to fight his illness has been amazing and he now wants to raise awareness and money for both Christie’s charity and the RL Benevolent Fund. After 27 Rounds of Super League matches all eyes now turn to Old Trafford. It’s been a long hard slog for whichever two teams finally get to contest the Grand Final. On Friday night when we defeated the Bulls, 16 out of the 17 Hull FC players were English - the only exception been Matthew Head who only lasted 15 minutes of the game. That’s a remarkable achievement but to top this, nine out of the 17 were local Hull lads brought through the academy system.
